Note on your calendars:

  • Elementary Music Program: Friday, May 1, at 1:30 p.m.
  • Last day for Targeted Services After School Progam (Fun day!) is Tuesday, May 5. There will be no TS this Thursday, April 9.

 

This week:

  • No school on Monday (Easter Vacation) or Friday, April 10 (Vocal Music Contest at our school).
  • Spelling Test will be on Thursday.  Please help your child study at home.

Math:  11.1 Addition Number Stories with Dollar and Cents

Objective:  Students will review finding estimates for sums of money, and calculate values of coin and bill combinations in number stories.

Students will complete pp. 264-265 in their math journals.

Students will complete Home Link 11-1 and return it to school.

Health:  What’s On My Plate

Students will Identify the five food groups and examples of foods for each group, name foods they like from each food group and advocate to others to eat a variety of foods using the MyPlate tool

Objective:  Students will practice with the trade-first subtraction algorithm.

Students will complete pp. 269 in their math journals.

Home Link 11-3 will be sent home for completion.
